Dizzy and Grover

Swing - Jazz
Bay Music and Entertainment performer Dizzy and Grover

Since their inception in 1991, this hard working musical duo has established itself as one of northern California’s premier jazz vocal ensembles. Enthusiastic audiences are charmed by their combination of musicality and showmanship, a package the Bay Area’s “Metro” newspapers have described as: “smart, sophisticated, full of subdued snap and swing.” The San Jose Mercury News adds: “Burnett’s voice possesses the same vulnerability that makes Billie Holiday such a joy and heartache to listen to” and “Coe’s guitar sounds as smooth and polished as the chrome on a 50’s diner.”

The intimate, romantic sounds of this duo have made them staples at some of California’s most prestigious resorts and restaurants; venues such as the Lodge at Pebble Beach, Carmel’s Highlands Inn, and the Inn at Spanish Bay. In a larger format, their quartets are packing dance floors from Palm Springs to San Francisco. Whether your event calls for subdued sophistication or high energy dance excitement, Dizzy and Grover can deliver the goods with style and class. You’ll be hearing some of America’s unique musical treasures performed by some of her best and brighest: Dizzy Burnett and Grover Coe.
